Foundation Mission
The mission of the King Springs Elementary Foundation is to provide resources beyond those currently provided by the Cobb County School District to supplement elements of enhanced education. The Foundation has set a goal to provide funding for teacher support, teacher training, and teacher stipends, incentives, and rewards for going above and beyond to support KSE goals. Additional areas of focus include enriched curriculum, technology, STEM support, and capital improvements.

Examples of school-level support include:
- Funds the positions of 2 part-time technology coordinators
- Provides funding for start-up supplies and equipment for Specials Rotations
- Provides funding for technology and weekly reader subscriptions used by students (e.g. Raz-Kids, Time for Kids, Flocabulary, etc)
- Provides funding for each class to have 5 iPads.
- Provides funding for supplies for quarterly STEM days (required to maintain our Cobb STEM certification)
- Provides funding for supplies for Yearlong grade level STEM projects (required to obtain AdvancEd STEM Certification)
- Provides funding and stipends for teachers to attend trainings
- Provides funding for teacher selected technology, equipment, and curriculum enhancements through our Springing Forward Grade Level Grants.
- Provides funding to replace a portion of the aging fleet of classroom iPads.
